this excludes Pixar stuff btw. just wondering what ppl like. Mine: 1. Aladdin- all characters very stylised, great comic moments. love the "looney toon"-esque feel of this 2. Hercules- great design, very stylised, Hades best villain ever ;D 3. Pinnochio- just really beautiful animation and a nice shady undertone to the story 4. Lilo and Stitch- love the way it fits into contemp. times. like that it deals with family issues. Stitch is inspired anti-hero character 5. Beauty and the Beast- I'm a sucker for gooey Disney romance...one of the few that brings tear to my eye (beasts transformation at the end) plus Gaston is a cool bad guy 6. Jungle Book- music rocks, characters rock, in general this film rocks. George Sanders is top as voice of Shere Kahn too. 7. The Lion King- very epic feel with great comedy. love the look of it. 8. Emperors New Groove- love this style, very similar to Aladdin. Kuzco is so mean but has a nice transformation in character by the end of the movie which is made believable. and it's *never* overly soppy! 9. Dumbo- mainly, from animation point of view, love this for the pink elephant sequence. it's so messed up and bizarre. also includes touching song which makes me say I have something in my eye 10. Alice In Wonderland-Underrated! great character designs and down right disturbing in parts. though a little miffed they completely ignored the structure of the original books. gotta love cheshire cat, though ;D *slips out the backdoor*

No order exept for number 1. =D
Nightmare Before Christmas - It's a great movie. It's my favorite because of the characters, the plot, the music and the look of it! Just wonderful! Beauty and the Beast - I watched this a few weeks ago and relized to myself I like this movie. The animation, the story/plot and the music ain't too bad either. Treasure Planet - OOOH. I want this on DVD. *cries* The whole thing is just great! ^ ^ Atlantis - No one seemed to like this alot. I found it wonderful and historical. Not fact, but otherwise, something for ppl to ponder about.... Robin Hood - XD I can't help but love this movie. Robin's a fox. I love foxes. Plus I like old fairy tales like this. The Cat Returns - *squeeks* I like this. Nothing else too say. Just one of the best! =D Spirited Away - Yeah. I like this too. Nice animation, plot and voices. Hard names to remember, but meh, It's still a good movie. The Emperor's New Groove - 4 words to describe this movie. REALLY. FRIGGIN. HILARIOUS. ROFL. Brave Little Toaster - IT'S CUTE!! LEAVE ME ALONE!! And I liek the songs once they get inside the store. After that point, the songs are AWESOME.
*does a little dance* I can't think of a 10th one. o.o;;

O MY GOD!!! HOW could I POSSIBLY forget the Brave Little Toaster?! Probably because it never comes to mind when I think "Disney"....because it's such unconventional Disney...thanks for reminding me, that'd be way up near the top o' my list!

Hm... I think yer right. Whenever I hear The Brave Little Toaster, I don't automaticlly think of Disney. Kinda weird. Maybe it's just the feel of it?

yey I remember Brave Little Toaster! used to scare me when a kid though, the bit when the vacuum cleaner goes mad and tries to suck the others up. and the horrible bit with the used cars in the dump all waiting to be crushed! pretty grim.

Yeah, there's quite a bit of scariness in Brave Little Toaster. The two sequels, too. But words can't express how I *love* those 3 movies..they're just so dang cute and original. ;D ;D I still do get creeped out by the air conditioner when he blows up, the parts shop appliances, the cars in the junk yard and even Rob's modern appliances...but...I love them anyway..

Something was weird.
They put the THIRD ENSTALLMENT as the second film.
Like this.
The first one, where they try to get back home. The second, where they save their owners baby from appliances on the planet Mars. And the third, where they stop a virus from infecting a computer and kidnapping of animals.
The thing is. The THIRD installment is ACTUALLY THE SECOND in the series.
They put the wrong movie as the sequel.

I know. See, there are only 2 books written..the first one, corresponding with the first film, and the second one about Mars, corresponding with the Mars film. When they made the movies, they did one for each book. Then they decided to go back and insert a THIRD piece of the story in between--so even though it came out as the 3rd movie, it was supposed to happen in between the first two (book-based) movies.

Well... A Character that was in the second (third) movie, was not in the first one. Forgot his name, but he was the computer in the virus one (the movie that went in between)
For the Mars one (second) he helped Toaster make their ship.... But nobody knew who he was because there was no movie in between to explain the events...

Wittgenstein....yeah...it was confusing when he helped them in the Mars movie because we needed to see the 'To the Rescue' movie to learn about him and why he was in the museum and all. Luckily, I recall the movies coming out sort of within a short time span of each other...so I don't think I had to wait too long to find out about him...I can't remember exactly.
