*zooms in, sees quote, must respond!* I read up till book 4 and then just couldn't be bothered to carry on. The 5th, according to other people I know who have read it, is all over the place without a straight storyline, and can actually get quite confusing sometimes, and to be honest, I'm quite annoyed at the fact that JK Rowling is making so much money out of an unoriginal idea. I agree completely with the most part of this, Buscemi girl. there are far better told stories of the fantasy kind out there *coughpratchettcough* and the fifth Potter book, for me, really dragged and really made me want to slap the little golden boy-who-scored for the most part. However....I do think the Potter idea as a whole is great, I just think it could have been written * a lot* better. And I'm actually pretty glad that JK Rowling seems to neglect a lot of her characters and leave them under developed- it does equal fanfiction heaven, after all and as this is the Harry potter thread, I'm going to spead the Draco love; cos you know, everyone should love the blonde git. *waves Slytherin flag and joins in the fangirlishness* ~Lil Bandit xxx

I think Slytherin is the best house, and I don't even like Draco! Gryfindor is so stereotypical, and the other two houses are really neglected.

i love HP. i've been reading it for about 6 years now. im not sure what im going to do when the end comes. it's been one of my main fandoms for years and i can tell you almost anything about the books. BTW, im a Snape fangirl. for some reason, people have a problem with that now. haha, but they'll see when Book 7 comes out.
^yeah, im a Slytherin. Gryfindor is overrated. my house was determined by my personality, unlike some people who just pick what's 'popular'.
