Hey all! I saw Bat Man the second day, and I'm suprised nobody made a thread 'bout it. So -here I go! ;D
It was great. I am a huge thriller fan, and this movie satisfied me completely for that. It was truly creepy, if not chilling. I am not a huge Batman fan, and this movie really intrigued me. Dr. Crane I found was absolutely stunning, very attractive but very twisted and evil. He was very chilling.
I loved IT! LOVED IT! Anybody else?
However...If you saw Batthumb, you would have to chuckle at some parts.
Blue Jay: Would you wipe my tears? Bat Thumb: No I will not wipe your tears, what part of you thinks that I would wipe your tears? Blue Jay: The good part of me!
Bath Thumb:Fred, I need to get to the Thumbcave! Fred the Butler: [drunk] ... Fish!... Oh Wuce, I thought you were a marlin. If you're going out be sure to take an umbrella because there's BACON outside. Wuce Bayne: ...That's fine, Fred. Fred the Butler: Fine for you maybe but what about the Bacon Bits people? They can't be happy! [wanders off]

Lately I've been really getting into this "classic superheroes" fangirl thing. lol. So, even though I'm not really a Batman fan, I might go see it sometime. Looks pretty neat.

Holy erase-face, Sean! You are a lucky thing. I absolutely loved the show:D
Batman was certainly better, in my opinion, than any of the other super hero movies releasedas of late. It really was just incredible. It had more maturity and depth than the rest, better villains and better plot twists. Not to say that I disliked the others, but this was just fantastic.

Even more-so than Spiderman?
Well, sadly, we're hoping to find a buyer who will pay a fortune for something so rare.

They've been doing a lot of reviving the old superheroes lately, haven't they? Some of the films seem to just be ripping off the originals to make a bit of money, although Batman looks like an exception.

Some of the films seem to just be ripping off the originals to make a bit of money, although Batman looks like an exception. Yeah, they have. Although, I think the upcoming "Fantastic Four" also looks like a bit of an exception to that, as well. They made sure to make it right and keep it true to the comics, characters, and such - along with a good, purposeful storyline. Not just for the sake of making money (though, I'm sure that's a big part of it as well). I've read the adult novelization of the movie version, and they certainly seem to be doing it justice. That deserves some perks. But, that's just my opinion. . .

You know... They say the Incredibles and the Fantastic Four have some sort of connection. Not to say that Mr. Incredible looks allot like a character called Blasto from years ago, fun fact.

You know... They say the Incredibles and the Fantastic Four have some sort of connection. Not to say that Mr. Incredible looks allot like a character called Blasto from years ago, fun fact. Really? Pretty cool fact. ^_^ I have actually noticed quite a few tie-ins between Fantastic Four and The Incredibles, after delving into the history of the F4. For example, at the end of the movie, a new villian comes (looks like a mole, probably lives underground) and he calls himself the Underminer. Well, in the Fantastic Four world, the first enemy they ever went up against after Dr. Doom, was an ugly mole-like villian called Moleman. Similar to the Incredibles, huh? Not to mention, Mr. Incredible has the superstrength like The Thing/Ben Grimm (though not nearly as unlucky in the appearances category). Elastigirl has the same powers as Mr. Fantastic/Reed Richards. Violet possesses the same powers as Invisible Girl/Susan Storm. And, the only exception is Dash, though Violet is Dash's older sister, just as Susan is Johnny's older sister. Pretty interesting how they added tie-ins like that. Oh yeah, and Syndrome has sorta similar powers to Dr. Doom - the Fantastic Four's first nemesis (oh yeah, and Syndrome was The Incredibles' first nemesis too ). Not to mention Syndrome and Mr. Incredible have past connections and know each other. Same with Dr. Doom and Mr. Fantastic; they used to be colleagues. So, there's quite a few homages I believe The Incredibles paid to the comic world's first and longest running super family: the Fantastic Four. Pretty cool.
