Whooo. I saw this a few weeks ago with my dad (yes, my dad). My dad actually liked it a bit, considering he's not a fan of Tim Burton's films. I'd have to give it an 8 out of 10. Some of the parts didn't appeal to me and the songs weren't as memorable <sp? as Nightmare Before Christmas' songs. I liked how they matched the voice actors up with the perfect character and it seems to though as Danny Elfman helped once again with the music. =D Danny Elfman, Johnny Depp and Tim Burton always seem to team up.
So, I'd take it as I thought it was very good. Anyone else seen it?
(BTW, I LIVE!)

It was masterpieceful... Tim has never ever let anyone down in his films, and with Johnny Depp, it was a sure success! The songs were great too. I especially like the one with Corpse Bride (forgot name), the Magot, and the Spider.

I'm going to see it next weekend, though I was a little peeved that they used NBC songs in the adverts. It looks very good, though!

Well I particularly liked that they did that. Those songs are kinda like trademarks for Claymation.

I think they are ^_^ Tim Burton was the first to do Claymation.....wasn't he? Or was that the Wallance and Gromit people....

Well, Wallace and Gromit made the first short films, but there were old ones before that. Like Good Ole Gumby and Pokey.
I likes Corpse Bride all right, but it played way too much off NBC's success. The script was forgettable and had no passion, same with the songs and fall-away jokes. I FAR prefer CWR! However - it did have a lot of good points, like the little kid and his grandfather.

That's what I've heard from others that have seen it- that it's an okay film, but is no-where near as good as NBC and was a bit disappointing in general.

I think it matches NBC though. It may copy a few things, but the story itself was good. Ok. NBC's story and emotion was better, but Corpse Bride is close to it.

?
You know. I AM kinda wondering about something...
WHAT happened to those two anyway? Their parents seem to be VERY angry at them....or at least Victoria's to Victor.

I think they decided to lay off, you know, knowing Victor has some..."Connections" down under.
I agree. I love Victoia! Huzza for the average girl! She's so cute!
