*sighs* You know what? I hate to say it, but at this point, I'm starting to think that it'd probably be better that a sequel DOESN'T get made after all, if it HAS to be "either-or." I'd much rather not get a sequel where Randall is painted in a bad light again -- or where he's completely excised from the plotline -- and just leave the original movie as is -- even if means he'll never (at least in official canon) get that second chance he deserves. And that, of course, is a pretty good-sized caveat...this whole thing just totally sucks, doesn't it? ...Then again, seeing how tenuous this situation between Pixar and Disney has been so far (Iger had said months ago that a reconciliation wasn't likely; NOW he WANTS to see that reconciliation happen), I'm not about to give up on this quite yet. I'm also wondering if the fact that Andrew Millstein -- who once headed WDFA-F -- has been hired for this "Pixaren't" studio might actually be a slightly hopeful sign. Unfortunately, for right now, it seems to be just a "wait and see" sort of thing... ~Light Rises I agree with that. But, geez, the prospects on a Pixar/Disney reunion is like a rollercoaster ride: lots of sudden peaks and low falls. I'm just gonna wait and see what they come up with after the talks. Like Light Rises said, it's sort of a "wait and see" kind of thing.
