Ah right. I think there is a sort of rivalry between Disney/Pixar and DreamWorks.

"Monsters, Inc." was nominated for the Oscar in Best Animated Film, but was beaten by "Shrek". I haven't heard of Steve being nominated for anything as Randall.

Ah right. I think there is a sort of rivalry between Disney/Pixar and DreamWorks. Well, erm, only slightly. *sarcasm* They've been at it like bulldogs right from the beginning- Pixar claimed (and probably rightly) that Shark Tale was copying Finding Nemo, and there has been a slanging match between Pixar and Dreamworks officials, though Disney doesn't seem to be too against Dreamworks- it's more Pixar since they are both CGI companies.

Yeah they were! You guys talked about it before that Steve almost got an award.
Dreamworks is coming up with Ice Age 2. Can't help but see lots of sequels in the future.

Dreamworks may have made some good movies, but they're just not on the same level as Pixar.

Well....they're coming close. While Pixar is on M.I.'s animation, Dreamworks is on Toy Story 1 animation.... I'm talking about progress.

Pixar's done a lot better than MI animation, Sean- seen The Incredibles recently?
And anyway, as far as I know, Dreamworks uses the computer programme that Pixar INVENTED to make their films.

Well M.I. was NON human animation, which is allot harder than human animation, the Incredibles. Besides...they used the same program for many of the characters in Incredibles.

Well, doing the characters in a film isn't the only animation they do- there are the sets, and special effects and things like that, and since MI, Pixar has improved a lot.

Well...actually...since Toy Story 2 they've improved allot. Like that Airport scene.

They improve with every film, like their profits.
