What would your closet monster be? Mine would be a giant hornet.

Mine would be one of my ex-Principals. Seriously, I'm not afraid of, or even "creeped out" by, any animals. I breed TARANTULAS and snakes as a hobby, after all, and teach Jr. High for a living, so there's not many living things that can scare me!
I can totally understand how Randall, with his unique talent, could be truely terrifying, though, even to someone who is not afraid of monsters. I can't think of many situations that would be more shocking than to reach out and touch something that you THOUGHT was a mundane, inanimate object, like a chair or a lamp, for example, and your hand encounter something warm, moving, covered in skin and obviously ALIVE; that would probably scare the beejeebers outa ME!

im terrified of spiders. i just can't overcome it. and a large one probably wouldn't scare me as much as a small one. i know it's strange. i think im afraid of them laying eggs in my brain ::)i know it's ridiculous, but it scares me big time. everything else is good to go. i love snakes and lizards. i actually kissed a lizard not to long ago. a leopard gecko in my chem class. and i've wanted an iguana since i was four. but my mom still refuses to let me have a reptile. i think Randall would scare me, if he just pop out of nowhere in front of my face. i hate being surprised like that.

Yeah, me too. I reallly dislike those little popping ghosts at The Haunted Mansion. They keep on scaring me everytime I go to that ride for the last time before going back home!

I heard this story about a portrait that got uglier and uglier when the guy in the portrait did a horrible sin. Sometimes when I go to bed, I jump at every sound, thinking it's that ugly guy coming to scare me.

wow, i've seen that movie. it's really good. yeah, i get scared about really weird things. i have nightmares about the monsters from the Silent Hill games coming to get me. i had one the other night even. once when i was a kid (around 4), i had this dream that a monster came to my bedside and told me that he was going to kill me when i feel asleep. i'm still scared of it. it was so freaky...

i didn't think it was too scary, but im more scared of creatures. like that thing that sits next to Jabba The Hut. i don't know was that thing was, but it terrified me when i was a kid. i was afraid of aliens too. i swear, they were looking at me while i was sleeping. bright lights would flash in my window and we lived in the woods! no roads were even near. im glad we moved. but im still afraid of being abducted.

Hmm, I don't really have a fear. Well...maybe bugs. I HATE THEM! (No offence pitbulllady) I seriously cried when my family took me to see "It's rough to be a bug." We went to go see it twice and I cried both times! The first time was when we went to Disneyworld for the first time when I was six, then the second time was about two years ago. *blushes* One time when I was like five or four, I thought that E.T was staring at me through my window. I called my dad over to my room and he explained to me that E.T was just an alien trying to get back home to his planet. Once he left I thought I saw E.T again, waving good bye to me.

i hate bugs too. i want to really overcome my fear, but i just can't. i've never been on that ride, but i seen it on TV. my family's not big on Disney world, we're more into Universal Studios. i love that place, big time. it's there a Monster's Inc ride, im sure i've seen something about it before.
O.o, that's kinda creepy. yeah, my parents would just tell me to be quite and go to bed. so i would just keep my eyes closed all night, so i wouldn't see anything scary.

I believe it was Carl Sagan who wondered if we have an instinctive fear of monsters in the dark as small children...so we would not wander away from the cave into the night (clans whose kids tended to do this probably did not survive).
