I KNOW that because of their humanoid appearance, these particular monsters wouldn't be in the monster world. But WHAT IF? Feel free to post the possibility of werewolves and other "old fashioned" monsters dwelling in the monster world.

I think that there's a definite possibility of a Monster World equivalent to our vampires and werewolves, certainly. With vampires...Well, are there bats in the Monster World? There probably are something similar, so it's definitely plausible.

Actually, thinking about it, I don't see why their animals can't be very similar to ours- Wazowski does call Randall 'lizard-boy' after all, implying that they have lizards there.

It would have been funny if Waternoose, as the main villain had the signature pet cat to go with it XD. One with eight eyes and horns perhaps?

Unless the vampires in the monster world are like cute fluffy little bunnies that may appear cute, but at night, they turn into juice-sucking vampires, ready to suck the juice out of innocent carrots! ;D Just a thought.

Perhaps there could be vampires in the monster world. After all, there are so many different ideas as to what vampires look like, and not all of them look human, so I can see there being a vampire in the monster world. However, I also see a humanoid vampire being either feared and respected or prejudiced against and whatnot there, due to being once human.

Since humans (children anyway) are considered toxic, I highly doubt they would see humanoid vampires there. After all, a humanoid monster would eliminate the "children are toxic" thing having once been human themselves right?
*snickers at the Bunicula comment* I miss those books ;D

Vampires would likely be between Human and Monster. A genetic abnormality. Then again some "fluid drinkers" are under some form of disease. I'm NOT saying Vampires DON'T exist, but monster's would probably say "we're not fans" ^_^

Fair point there Sean. What does Randall have to say on this matter, by the way?

Hah! ^_^ Personally, I think vamps and werewolves would exist in the Monster World, maybe in hiding, half human, half monster... Shunned by both man and mon...
But I wouldn't be surprised if other creatures of myth/legend came into this... Chimera, Phoenix, Dragons etc...

Celia is practically a Medusa, although she does not seem to have petrifying powers (unless they are voluntary).
