I don't know if anybody recalls, but I think we've said, a long time ago, there were three scripts for Monsters Inc....
One was the final product we all saw in theatres...
The second was with Randall still as Top Scarer and being "friends" with Sullivan and Wazowski.
And the third one.... May actually be in a manga....
Anybody interested?

Yeah. It's a manga based on Monsters Inc. But the interesting thing is is that it is based off the missing script.

There is no "missing third script", just several scripts that never were accepted(as is the case with ALL movies), and a three-hour-long movie that got MADE, then edited heavily to cut down on length. I suspect that many of the edited scenes DID involve Randall and HIS background, and that they were cut because they might have made him look too sympathetic to movie goers.
As for the Manga, I've seen it at Wal-Mart. It is basically EXACTLY the same as the movie, except that Randall is portrayed even worse in the Manga. In the comic, he's much, much meaner, especially to Fungus, whom he slaps around constantly, something he NEVER does in the movie! In the Manga, Randall still winds up being thrown into that trailer, only it is a MAN he encounters inside, who attacks him with the shovel, rather than a diminuitive woman, and a man would be more likely to be able to wield a shovel with enough force to actually kill him! If that is the so-called "missing script", it needs to STAY freakin' missing!

Remember there are a few leaks Pitbulllady. Sometimes parts of the other scripts are included. Such as Randall calling Sullivan "Sully".
Really? Well.... I have to see it anyway and analyze.

Walmart? I wish I could find it at walmart. The only copy I have touched was at a comic store wrapped in plastic.

They should just burn it up and throw it away so Randall-haters can't have another reason to hate Randall. Who made up all that junk about Randall slapping around Fungus?

So was this manga an actual English comic book, or something from Japan brought over and translated? Because if it's from Japan, as you use the term "manga", then in all likelyhood it's simply a fan doujinshi, which isn't official at all (which doesn't really make sense because if it's made by fans dedicated enough to draw page by page drawings of the characters, one would think that they've analyzed and obsessed over the movie enough to realize how Randall definitely isn't evil?)
But if it's just a colour comic book to "suppliment" the movie, well, it was probably put out by Disney, as I believe it's illegal in North America to publish stuff using character's belonging to others for the purpose of profit (that's why we do "disclaimers" on ff.net).

It was made in Japan and serialized in a monthly anthology named Comic Bon Bon. And yes, it's official.

So, what does Randall look like in the manga?

He pretty much looks like Randall, but as in many of the little "kiddie" books, he's got that perpetual angry scowl on his face or his teeth bared in a snarl. Really, the only difference between the Manga and the movie, plot-wise, is that Randall is much meaner, to EVERYONE, for no good reason(especially abusive to Fungus), and it's a man, not a woman, in that trailer with the kid in the baseball cap. I can chalk both up to "artistic license" on the part of the artists in Japan, or to perhaps some cultural thing that had problems with a woman being the apparent head-of-household(or "trailerhold")in Louisiana, rather than this being based on a "lost script".
