Well, since I moderate this board I thought I'd get it going....
Anybody a Steve Buscemi fan? Favorite films or anything?
I have to say Reservoir Dogs (Mr. Pink!!)! Also rather like Armageddon and Con Air...he has been in so, so much!

Well actually, I get the sense he carried a bit of Randall's character off in Big Fish.
But I think Armaggedon was my fave with him ^_^

"You see that diamond? It isn't really a diamond. (pause) Want a drink?" Steve ROCKS and without Randall I never would have discovered the vast talents of the Indie King. Anyone here seen Trees Lounge? It's the ultimate Steve film, written, directed and starring him, and it's one HECK of a film! If you haven't seen it, do, because along with being a great film, you get a whole near two hours of pure Steveness!!! ;D

His greatest achievement, as a person, as a HUMAN, was what he did following the destruction of the Twin Towers on 9/11/01. He actually donned his fireman's uniform, and spent three weeks digging through the smoking rubble, putting himself in grave danger each day, to recover the bodies of those unfortunate enough to have been inside when the WTC collapsed, many of whom were his childhood friends and former co-workers. Many Hollyweird types give all sorts of "lip service" to their causes, but Steve actually gets in there and DOES something, dangerous though it may be, rather than just run his mouth from the sidelines. That's the sort of thing I'd expect from Randall, if the going got rough for HIS community, and I can see where that aspect comes from.

I remember that.... A department in New York....Engine 55 if I'm not mistaken.
Yeah....that took guts. I don't care what that guy on TNT say's that firefighters aren't heros, they are. Steve wasn't a star then....he was a fighter.
Yeah....I expect that from Ran too. You can see similar actions he would take from Steve....
Speaking off....where's Steve now? Last I heard, I think he was being some-sort of arrested for a sort of protest.....I don't know heard it on some fan base.

I'm not completely sure...Steve does seem like a very generous sort of person though, from what I've heard. ;D

Yes, he is such a hero for what he did regarding the 9/11 rescue. I admire him.
I think "Trees Lounge" is on TV soon...might be tomorrow...I have to check my schedule.

I've heard a lot of random things that he did, like reading/acting a story (that I heard someplace online), and singing songs...& he was hilarious on Saturday Night Live...
I can't remember where I found the story or the songs, though, I just kind of came across them...a long time ago...
