Look who was sold out at my local Target! Randall and Jack Skellington were the only characters sold out at my Target, and Mike only had one left. The Frozen characters had a large stock left though, their areas were filled, plus another shelf near the Blu-rays and DVDs was devoted to Elsa's and Anna's infinity figures.

It's been that way pretty much since Infinity came out, at just about every store I've been to. I finally did get a Randall figure, but I had to actually tell the store to hold it for me as soon as it came in, like buying ammunition, lol. Once in awhile I see one or two Randalls still in stock, but he typically sells out fast, along with Jack Skellington and Capt. Jack Sparrow and Violet Parr. Those seem to be the most popular Infinity characters by far. Randall merchandise in general still sells out fast, and you usually can't find it at all, which is a testament to his popularity. I still maintain that Disney has not made nearly enough Randall items, and they are sitting on a gold mine, so to speak. We still need more Randall plushies, and bigger ones, and lots of Randall clothing of all types for all ages.

That's right. I actually get a lot of compliments for my Randy laptop sleeve, with many people asking where can they get one.

Yes! I would LOVE to have a cute Randall cap with scales and the fronds on top, like the cute Sulley cap with the horns and the Mike caps with the eye. I also really, really want a pair of purple, scaly 3-toed Randall slippers like the clawed Sulley slippers that are out! Oh, and a Randall scarf would be cute too... Let's just have Randall everything!! The only good thing about not having a lot of Randall is that it makes it more fun to collect him, but I still demand that everything I mentioned above be made! Oh, and on the topic of selling out fast, how about Randy's scare student figure? That thing is gone...wiped free, like a tornado raided all my local stores of them. Gone, gone, gone, as fast as all the nice Frozen merchandise. Randy's scare student figure is now pretty expensive online Wow, I've never seen a Randy laptop sleeve, good find! I managed to get a Randy infinity figure on Amazon for the special low price of $8 because it was out of stock at the time and the seller cut the price by a lot to make it up to us, kinda like a pre-order type thing. Now it's back up to $17 on there.

I'd tried and tried to find one in stores, but if any stores got one in, it was GONE! Like I said, it's comparable to finding .22lr ammunition in stores. People just snap 'em up as soon as they are off the truck, probably a lot of employees buy the Randall stuff because they know they can re-sell it for 3-4 times retail online. I mean, Randall was already popular and had a dedicated fanbase before MU even came out, so you would think that Disney would be all too happy to cash in on that, and prepare for even more Randall fans. There seems to be a lot of Randall stuff in Asia, though, especially Japan and Hong Kong, but still not much here in the US or in Europe. pitbulllady

Good point talking about Randall merchandise!
I personally have never seen any Large or X-Large sized Randall T-shirts... in fact, I've never seen a Randall T-shirt AT ALL. Sounds like they'd sell well!
Another thing that I think would be cool is if Randall Boggs got a spin-off videogame title. The closest I've come to that is when I got the 'Monsters, Inc.' 2-Disc Collector's Edition DVD set (released in 2002). It also came with a bonus PC disc which I actually have yet to play. It's called 'Monsters, Inc.: Pinball Panic', and the cover of the small paper sleeve showed Randall - ONLY Randall - in front of a heavy, industrial brick-red colored wall, and the title 'Pinball Panic' is shown on one of those grated, plated gray industrial machinery surfaces, surrounded by a yellow-and-black caution strip frame.
Sometime, I'll have to stick in the disc and look at it!

Randall provides the intro(VERY well animated and highly detailed) and challenges/coaches you throughout the game, praising you when you do well, sometimes teasing in a good-natured way when you don't do so well, but never mean. It is interesting that they made that game, and then years later, MU came out, and we see him patiently helping Mike study, although he and Mike sorta still have their differences in the into, lol. pitbulllady

Oh, WOW! Randall hosts the game for you? SWEET!
I will DEFINITELY find some time within the next week or two to play 'Pinball Panic'. Ever since getting the 1-Disc DVD set of 'Monsters University', I actually keep the game in the left insert portion of the case (I actually swapped the eco-case it came in for a solid, single-disc, 3-push button DVD case so it would PERFECTLY match 'Monsters, Inc.'), underneath the inserts the movie came with. My basic mindset was: Anything that involves Randall Boggs HAS to be good, and for many, MANY years, I had simply kept 'Pinball Panic' kind of out in the open on one of the shelves of my computer disc (you know, next to other PC games, floppy disks, and things of the like).
Since Randall is smiling on the cover of the sleeve, I SUPPOSE he didn't mind just sittin' there all those years on a computer desk as a mere smile drawer for me during a game of 'Frogger' or 'Toy Story', or such, like Chuck Noland's 'Wilson' volleyball in the movie Cast Away... (LOL!) THEN, poor Randall found his home for the duration of 2012-2013 on a luxurious bean bag I kept in front of my DVD library... though NONE of that was intentional. LOL! "Aw, well... it's a living. Sure beats gettin' hit with a shovel!" I guess Randall would say! LOLOLOL! All the same, I'm glad now to FINALLY have my 'Pinball Panic' disc in a place of honor - Randall along with it - as part of my 'Monsters' movie/PIXAR collection!
'Pinball Panic' sounds like it'll be TREMENDOUS fun! Thank you for telling me about it!

I just started a new folder on my photo bucket for monsters inc, so I'll have to redo the link in the opening.

My friend said he went to Best Buy the other day and looked for Randall, but Randall wasn't there either.

Pretty much all the Randall cups got bought up as soon as they hit they hit the stores, like back in June. Anything Randall related will sell out pretty quick in most places.

I managed to find one on sale for 80 cents at my local walmart a few weeks back. It was in a large bin piled high with hallmark cups featuring all sorts of characters, so many that I almost walked away without searching except that a purple cup caught my eye Among the others..and luckily it was his! My walmart still has his mini figure (along with all the other characters) and his roll a scare with the car, but that's it. Like Lotso, he sells out quickly around here.
I went to Game Stop today and the only MI character available was Mike, but Barnes and Noble had Randall's Funko Pop figure (I didn't buy it though).
