Wouldn't that be a get-out-of-work free card? ^0^ Nope, because you still have to do work and it's silence. I'm not particularly sure about Isolation since I've never been there myself but have spoken to alot of people who have. I think I've been lucky . The worst thing I've had so far is a Blue Slip which is 20 minutes at lunchtime inside in silence. I have also had alot of stage 1s and 2s.

"the unknown punishment" ^0^ Can suspect allot of strange and funny false rumors ^_^ *shrugs* Not like punishments are gonna fix the real problem people *folds arms* Besides, I knew these three troublemakers that used their punishment, detentions, to rudely skip ahead in lunch line.

That's horrible! Our punishments have to be delt with first before going for lunch!

I LOVE Fungus, he gets no love, though I can't see him being a scarer he's more of a laugher. It depends on your definition of "scary", though, honestly. The more I think about, the scarier Fungus is, NOT because he's a monster, or because of how he looks, but because of his obsession with math, plain and simple. I sucked at math as a kid. I actually had an undiagnosed learning disability in math which causes me to reverse numbers in a sequence, sort of like dyslexia, but with numbers and mathmatical symbols, and as a result, math classes were absolute NIGHTMARES for me. My father, who was an accountant for a major paper production company, couldn't understand how HIS kid could suck so badly at math, and attributed it to me just being "lazy". To this very day, when I start hearing someone going on about "cosigns" and "pi" and "square roots", etc., it brings back some really bad memories. Fungus talks like that all the time, even when he's just talking to himself. He's a bona fide math geek(well, he's just a geek, period, but math is obviously his thing) and to me, there's something wrong with people like that. It's just not natural. As an adult, I'd pretty much just find him annoying, but if he'd shown up in my room as a kid, and started in on that Math-Speak, it would have absolutely terrified me. It would have been like my fifth grade teacher was following me around everywhere. pitbulllady

PBL, I sort of have a different problem recently diagosed, I can solve problems (though need a bit more time) and apparently my general cognitive abilities are very high which compensated for some of my problems... but when it comes to things like say remembering a number sequence in reverse order etc. among other things I suck. Plus I have weird areas I have difficulties with too (I have strengths in some areas related to patterns, but not so in others). I am actually generally above average with maths (I just am a little slower, but I get the answer eventually...) but I have weird areas in writing too. (I for instance misspell and mix up letters, sometimes writing things I should know on the basis of how they SOUND, and I am pretty bad at hand writing spelling. Plus long run in sentances. I'm a bit better at typing, even without spellcheck, but I still make mistakes and I find they difficult to check in hand writing. I just find hand writing things difficult. )
Also I'm not good at following verbal instructions sometimes. I've always know this, but it's nice to have confirmation. Basically even if I could understand what Fungus is saying... on paper (or do the research to do so anyway for the things I didn't at least), but if he starts yammering on at the SPEED he does and I was trying to hold a conversation....
I would be pretty much stunned and not able to process it at the speed he is yammering at. At all. I wouldn't be able to keep up. So I'd be a little scared as a kid too. Not for the maths but his SPEED.
"What? Stop! SLOW DOWN FUNGUS!"
I would probably (eventually) be worn down a little by him, snap at him, and then feel bad as he cowered.

Yeah, and so you can get a little bit of an idea of how Randall must have felt after spending several HOURS with the guy, for days on end...is it any wonder he got "snappy"? pitbulllady

I think many people would... eventually. Even Sulley. Everyone has their limits after all. If he told me something IMPORTANT that I had to know and then dashed off I'd be in trouble.
There would be not a chance of me catching everything he said. It would take me a moment to process it even if he has my full attention to START with and then he'd be babbling about something else as I was trying to get what he was saying.
Of course, I'd certainly pull a Sulley with the rate Mike was going with the different coloured forms too anyway at least (wait... what did he say, which form is which? I'd only get it if I'd done it before and it jogged my memory).
It's frustrating sometimes actually. I apparently do have a high IQ (and the cognitive abilities are apparently awesome... weee!) But yeah verbal instructions. IDK. Not so good.
So if I was a scarer Fungus would not be a great assistant for me. He could work with SOMEONE. Just not me. Or Randall.
