I voted for Celia because she is sooo very much like many of the Southern gals I know personally, me probably being one of 'em. She's tough, she's sharp-witted, she doesn't like to give away her age or weight, and she has no trouble speaking her mind. She can be sweet and charming one second, and in-your-face the next, if the situation requires it. She's devoted to her man(though I can't see WHY), but she lets him know that she will absolutely put up with no crap whatsoever! She has the same flaw many Southern women have, though-an inability to pick out a good man, so she has to work with what she's got.

I voted for her mainly because she's got the least......."engasive" past with Ran. But then again, she is a better choice than anyone else to me. Sullivan, Wazowski....enough said. Smitty and Needlemen are the geekest of geeks, without the brains. Waternoose....you know... Flem and Jerry I have nothing against. As for Roz...well....I'd rather not say yet....
"....Personally I vote for myself heh heh heh..."
Ahem...
"What? Heh heh heh"

I HAD to vote Boo, because she's the most adorable little girl I've seen in all the Disney-Pixar movies, bar none. If I had to pick a third fave, it might be Roz. ( Stress that "might".)

I guess, for me, there was something a little TOO innocent about Boo. I don't dislike her...But I don't like her either. ;D I voted Celia just because she was a pretty neutral character.

And Celia IS the only other monster apart from Randall who has scales. Quite ironic that she's going out with the one monster in the film who really seems to hate anything with scales, isn't it?

True. Very true. But then, love is strange. It makes people do things they normally wouldn't be caught dead doing.

I wouldn't really consider Celia to be "scaly" because of her "hair", and of course, she isn't going to like Randall simply because she's heard her stupid boyfriend go on about him, ad infinitum.

She's probably going to dislike him even more, in fact- I always laugh at the part of the movie when Mike says by accident that the most beautiful monster in Monstropolis is Sulley, and she doesn't have the common sense to realise by Mike's tone of voice that he's just seen Sulley. She'll believe anything Mike says, although it's very probable that Mike has broken promises between them in the past.

A little mistaken sometimes, Celia is a smart person really.... And no...she's not really reptilian... She wears a dress that looks like scales and her snakes are, in a way, a "permanent" hair style you could say. (Here's something...remember she said she might get it CUT? SOME consideration on her part for the snakes huh?".

Yeah, that's true! It's weird, though, because there are parts of the film when she treats the snakes like friends of hers, but then when she says about having them cut, she obviously isn't considering them one bit.
