Yeah, it IS funny, and wouldn't it be great to be able to email that to Celia Mae, or post it up on Laugh Floor F?

I've heard of oreos so many times in American movies- what are they? I NEED TO KNOW!!! *says whilst lying on a massage bed* That's it, Wazowski, keep it going. And, while you're at it, get me a martini- shaken AND stirred. And a couple of diamond necklaces. And stick your head down the toilet too- that's it... ;D

*Wades through pool of icing to get to computer* LOL! Looks like you've got your priorities straight, Lizard Girl! I like that. Diamond necklaces, then toilet. He'd plug it though! He could stick his head in and then fish himself out? Woot for across the border trading! Yeah, Oreos are from America. They're these little chocolate cookies filled with a rather cheap icing. Still good though! You're in the UK, si? You have KitKats, no? Woot! Apparently you can only get those in Canada and Europe. Sooooooo good. ;D

KitKats? You mean those delish chocolate-covered wafers that break into little bars, that come in the reddish-orange wrapper? We have those here in the US, too. They are a really bad weakness of mine; I'm not supposed to eat them, you see, but if my blood sugar is really low, sometimes I will allow myself the luxery of just one.

We have 'em up here in Canada, but I thought that they were actually imported from the US (a large portion of our big name brand products come from our neighbors to the South).
Any of you guys ever had Flakes? They're chocolate bars (sorta) and, as the name implies, they're, well, flakey. ^_^ They crumble and melt in your mouth... I thought that you could only get 'em in Europe (there's a candy store downtown that sells imported stuff, which is where I first had 'em - mum reccomended them), but luckily I've seen them being sold in a few places since then.
What other kinds of chocolate/candy do you guys like? I'm always fascinated by these little cultural differences between Canada, the US and the UK ('cause even though we all speak English, we're pretty different regardless).

The Candy Bouquet, Beebs? Hmmm, I think I know where you're talking about, sounds awfully farmiliar. Near the Library? If it is...I adored that shop.
Yup, I'm pretty sure KitKats are exclusive to us Common Wealthers...
'Iz zis true? My mother told me, and I always thought they were an American import as well.
