IF they answer at all(they no longer "own" Randall, Disney does), they will likely tell you the same thing that's on the DVD-that he's just mean, that he "was a real jerk in high school", etc. They don't stop and figure that anyone would know any better. pitbulllady LOL. Exactly. In fact, long ago (just months or so after the movie came out) I sent Pixar an e-mail with tons and tons of signatures as a campaign to bring Randall back. They never, ever replied, though I left contact addresses and such. Heck, I doubt they ever even took it seriously enough to even bother to show it to anyone, though it took me alot of time and effort to get it put together properly (in a serious, business-like manner, as opposed to sounding like some fangirl and her friends begging for her fave character to be put in a sequal). So, just to let you know, I would highly doubt that you'd get any response from them whatsoever. And if you do, like pitbulllady said, they'd just tell you what's already on the DVD without another thought that someone would believe otherwise. Take it from me, when I say it's a waste of time. Now -that's- the epitome of disappointment, right there. Imagine, all that hard work and waiting to just get a simple, demeaning response in return... it's depressing. X.x; Sorry that happened. ~Keaton the Black Jackal

Yeah, it's a shame when things like that happen, espeically when it sounds as though it took you a lot of time and effort to organise.

*never had any intention of killing FONY and appreciates the idea being brought up; would have answered long ago if had actually, y'know, been AROUND*
Thiiiiiiiiis is just my own very un-canon idea, but I think it's certainly possible. If they were to get along, though, I think they would have to either 1) experience what the other had experienced, or 2) siddown and have one heck of a talk.
My Reason For Thinking Such Strange Thoughts:
If Randall was indeed a 'jerk in highschool', whether or not he had reasons for being so, then it's probable they saw him as such. (Don't kill me YET, please, need the heart for screenwriting class this Saturday. I'm getting to my point.) It's all about what you see and what you don't. Randall may be the sum of all things good and honorable, or he may be a jerk, but on the outside, he is--a jerk, pretty much. No offense to anyone or anything, but in the movie, he does act like a jerk. And I love 'im.
Sulley is acting out of--what? Who knows? But judging from his words and actions, at the end it's protectiveness towards Boo; parent's instinct makes everything else cloud. (As Pitbullady learned when she tried to pick up a baby guinea hen.) But do we think about that? No, we think about what we see--he tried to kill someone.
There's lots of arguments either way, for good or ill: Randall was running on exhaustion, Sulley wasn't thinking, Randall wasn't really going to kill them, Sulley didn't realize what he was doing, whatever. Either way neither of them got to explain themselves, and therefore, all either saw about the other was the end result.
I didn't even mention Mike because personally, I don't think he and Randall will EVER get along. At all. Period.
It's an interesting idea, I think anyway, and I'd love to see how you pull it off--what psychological issues you address, etc. I say, if you think it's a nice idea, go for it! I'll root for you all the way. ^_^

"Well actually....as I said....I wasn't really the jerk.....ok....so I did speak about them behind there back when the need arose but hey....you know what they say "treat the way you wanna be treated".....or is it....more on the lines of "you become your worst enemy".....hmm..."
What he means is....Sullivan and Wazowski were the jerks....they were definetly older then him and he was just a scaly to him....so in the future...when Randall got his job and was at a higher status....he...reluctantly became a slight jerk....on the outside...
"Hey....of course there were.....other reasons....ahem..."
Well Sullivan's actions did prove to be over-protective....but he still had to realize that he wasn't going to be around to protect Boo forever....it was her parents job and Sullivan HAD to learn that he can't take her parent's place...
"That's new....coming from you..."
.....I just thought of that.....anyway....
Both sides had there.....encounters..... Randall got his head slammed twice....
"Three times..."
Oh right the door....uhh....not to mention an assult....
........There's something I wanted to say...umm....Ran?
"Ok fine I'm going...."
......You know.....I've been thinking about this a long time.....and I think that.....Sullivan and Wazowski....DID pick the door they threw Randall through....that it wasn't just picked at random.... Just hear me out about this kay?

That's what I originally thought Mike, Sulley and Randall could do... They don't have to get along, just forgive each other and get on with their lives. Mike forgiving his enemy might be just like Horton forgiving Sour Kangaroo (I also love Horton Hears A Who ;D). Better to forgive and forget than have rage.

I agree; I can't ever see them being friends, not Mike and Randall, anyway, but I hate to think of Randall forever carrying about all this hate and anger and hurt. That is so harmful to anyone to do that, and to make things worse, Randall probably already had a lot of pent-up emotional issues before any of this took place, which is what him so insecure in the first place. To not be able to eventually let go of all that, and put it in the past, would be like having some form of emotional cancer, just eating him up from the inside out. pitbulllady

Somethings may be forgot, but not forgiven, and vice versa..... Cancer is an interesting way to describe it....

I need to get what's in my head out... I've been surfing about this section and I'm wondering... Why does all of you want to torture Sulley and Mike? For fun, or maybe even for revenge? Revenge is a good way to put it really... I know they did bad things to Randall, but it's no excuse for plotting a revenge on both of them. Let me say, that getting your own back is the worst thing to do. Revenge can turn into greed... which destroys you. I've been watching too many movies . One example I can say is The Dark Knight... Harvey Dent is saved, but his girlfriend Rachael is killed. The Joker than lures Harvey to turn evil and he names himself Two Face. He then goes after people he thinks are responsible for Rachael's death... After trying to kill Commissioner Gordon's son, he fails and dies. Harvey's taste for revenge drove him over the edge and he lost himself to the darkness... Do you really think torturing Sulley and Mike is going to prove or resolve anything?

*shrugs* I haven't showed any open hostility to those two for a long time, and they're even treated fairly, morely Sullivan, in my upcoming special.
Strange that I also saw such interest in Dark Knight representation in this sense... *folds arms* But before that, what shows that it is a film instead of portrayl of reality, is that the ferries in the film both survive, which would NOT have happened, both would have been destroyed. What happened to Harvey would be reality. *folds arms*, but Harvey didn't get revenge on the Joker when he had the chance, and he HAD his chance, but instead chose a different path. *folds arms* If he were to shoot the Joker then and there, the madness would've ended....*shrugs* Probably what Randall might've done, weighing the option of what the anarchy clown would do if he continued. And since the law doesn't treat Randall's kind with much fairness, good a chance as any....
*shrugs* Guess my point is...is that most of us KNOW that Sullivan and Wazowski DESERVE punishment. Their actions were committed and they got away with it....*folds arms* Yes...Sullivan MAY have shown a brief glimpse of guilt near the end, but not enough to be brought out in the open. And if they did something similiar to someone else and got away with it just for "being the hero's"....would THAT be fair?
