So you know those exclusive clips Germany had? Like of Art breakdancing and so on. Well, looks like they've got some extra promotional images too- here's Randall the goalie!  According to Google translate, ignoring the first word it means "currently not a factor". I would have thought the first word was like an alternative version of Mike's surname (which is why it wasn't coming up). Not entirely sure what that's supposed to mean- I'm guessing something's been lost in translation. Not sure if we have any German speakers in here but I might try and get a uni friend of mine to have a look at it sometime if not. Also, Randy- nice try, mate, but unless you literally fall down and fling yourself at the ball I can't imagine you stopping anything in a goal this size! Haha. Also, I love the wicked grin on his face- it's not evil or malicious (and that's confirmed by Mike's smile) but it does have a hint of MI Randall: I can imagine Randy saying something like, "come on Mike, you really think you can get the ball past me?" in a teasing, friendly sort of way. Actually, Randall might not be bad at this....he can scale around the net pretty good probably.
It's funny though. XD
My sister actually used to be a goalie in soccer. LOL. And she played with a bunch of guys too. She was the only girl. LOL.

I KNEW keeping track of these was a good idea. I'm dang glad that they DID decide to include Randall in these promos afterall!
You know, he'd be dang good at any position. Though how a guy with four legs scales in terms of soccer...I dunno. I know a blue guy who's ok at it though.
Anyway, as a goalie, I think Randall's got the speed to deflect. Unsure of his stopping power though....if he used his tail though, he'd be good.
Now the bit itself.
You know...we got the pic, but does that mean there's a vid floating around too that we could see?
But regardless, what I see here is two buds having fun. Randall's got his competitive side...but even then, this reminds me of Pinball Panic. He was actually a little boastful...BUT ENCOURAGING as well. So I'm guessing it's a "you think you can get past me?" thing. So yeah...we're seeing Randall and Wazowski...actually having FUN here.
"Before staring Frankowski, yet goal" is what I got on the google translator....maybe it's broken.

Definitely encouraging to see Randall actually having fun and feeling good about it.
Google translate gets it wrong. I actually asked a native speaker, who also explained the slogan spoof thing...

Definitely makes me feel all good inside, especially seeing those two as friends, having fun, "cutting up" a bit together. Hopefully one day that friendship will be renewed. Can we just take a moment to appreciate Randall's superb flexibility here? I mean, LOOK at the positioning of his legs, how he's actually got them bent so that his feet meet together on each side like opposing hands, and how he's got his tail coiled around the top of the goal and through the netting. His rear-most pair of hips are actually swiveled BACKWARDS here! He really takes "double-jointed" to a whole new level, doesn't he? Sooooo many possibilities*drags mind out of gutter AGAIN* Then, too, you know somebody is gonna see this and say, "ooooh, he looks so MEAN there"  pitbulllady |

I'll bet this is a shot from a future short video like the ones Pixar have been doing, such as the one with Art break dancing, the one with Mike and Sully with the 3D glasses and the one where Sully is using Mike as a basket ball.
I hope that is true, hopefully if it is, the video won't be long away. ;D

That's what I was saying before Pistol. Said we should keep our eye on them in case they put in Randall. And surprisingly, in this instance, I was right.
Hopefully, yeah we'll get the vid. I'm not sure if they were done in english...know a tv spot was...umm...can't remember. Not sure if the one I looked at was english....
But still...we get to see MORE Randall. And since these short vids are encouraging watch, I think they'll all be positive show for him.

I'm pretty sure thats what this is too, I mean its a solid white background just like the others and these are obviously fully rendered and if you look at Randall, he is slightly blurred as if in motion. Yeah, positive its from a video we will see soon. I hope its soon! ....and in English. lol |

You know...it was said that we've seen the LAST trailer for the film....but guess that's not stopping Pixar with more spots!
*thinks*....Hey wait a minute...ok, so there have been what...four spots? The glasses, breakdance, scare bit, and basketball....those four? And NOW...AFTER the screenings...we get one WITH Randall.
Does anybody think this is just a coincidence. Or has Randall's popularity (in the good way), along with us, got Pixar thinking "Ok, trailers are done. We can still do spots....so...lets put Randall in some" ? ^_^
