....came out today?
Is it worth buying? Does anyone know if it actually has new worthwhile stuff on it that my Blu-Ray version doesn't already have?

You know, I once aimed to get the HD version of MI when I got a PS3 years ago...but from the places I went to it either was out of stock or just plain wasn't there 0_0 I saw all the other pixar films, but M.I. was like looking for a needle in a haystack.
I might look into getting this...finally HAVE a HD copy along with some extras. Bonus bonus I guess for patience.

Okay I just read some info and the sneak peek is a good three minutes long. So its definitely new, plenty of time for a Randall scene hopefully. But its real hard to get to, you have to get past a bunch of trailers and ads before it starts. Also there is a section called "Banished Concepts" five deleted scenes that were fully rendered and animated. Wonder what those are, maybe the sketched deleted scenes from before, just rendered? That would be cool Here is a link if you want to read more. bluray.highdefdigest.com/8077/monsters_inc_3d.html

Three minutes? Sounds like a scene... Wonder if it IS that Archie bit...but three minutes...since Sullivan and Wazowski are the merchandise focus...they are in that of course...but Randall would probably walk in wondering what the heck mess up the room. But yeah marketing wise, it probably is brand new...
A 40% off already?? 0_0 Huh, very well might get a copy after all.
Banished concepts, I remember that from the original. I'm not sure, but I think the coffee bit with Randall was in that? That would...be hilarious to see fully rendered heh.

Sully and Mike jump out the window after Archi, but the camera stays in the room long enough to see Randall walk in and go "What the heck!?" and then it cuts back to Sully and Mike. Hahaha 40%? I must have missed that. No matter, I still cant afford it right now. I still to this day have not seen that coffee scene, or at least don't remember it. Do you know where I can find it so I can watch it, maybe Youtube?

Well it's a way for all three of them to come in. While I think we start with Wazowski (and his story is the main track with his obsession), hopefully the three of them will be interacting a lot more.
Actually, I KNOW it, and I saw it...but I don't know WHERE. Now that I think about it I don't think it's IN Banished Concepts... I DO recall how it was, though...John Lasseter was in a room and directing people to a large storyboard where the scene takes place and John is walking them through it. And I THINK it was in the Human Door on the collector's edition...

I noticed that when I watched it recently. So hopefully he will have more screen time in MU, which I'm sure he will giving how he's the roommate and friend of the main character. Yeah, I cant remember. How dose the coffee part go?

I think a member actually did get an accurate(ish) count of how much screen time he got...but yeah it was less. While Wazowski may be the main header, each of them should get a fair amount of screentime ...
Oh jeez, it's been years...ummm... From what I remember, Sullivan is Randall's assistant (or a wraggler like Smitty/Needleman) and Randall's "teaching" him the proper way to get coffee. .....I....can't remember more details. Randall doesn't look like himself, it was an early concept (he looked buggy I think), but he wasn't TOO.... Oh yeah, I think I remember Sullivan was walking onto the floor with Wazowski, and during their conversation "SULLIVAN!" comes up and that's when Randall comes in, to explain to him how to get coffee. In the end I think Sullivan was surrounded by cups or balancing them or something and was "in training" for how to do it...

I remember Randall talking out loud wondering where Sully was, saying "Where could he be? I hope he's not hurt because if he's late one more time he gonna get FIRED." Yeah, I remember now. lol

AH yes there we go. Oh yes I remember the face, Randall's talking sweet-like and worrisome, then on the last word (fired), it's all grumpy and stern as he KNOWS Sullivan's about. Oh yes heh heh...I gotta find where I put my collector's edition...

Spoilerific heh heh. Well, I suppose for some it would affect their buying...and people DO have to be careful with their money, so I guess it would be a saving grace to drop some details to see if it's worth it.

Okay, I'll look at it in a bit. My mom actually said she'd give me back the money for it. LOL. I guess she felt like being nice since I picked up her movie for her.
