From what I've seen so far on YouTube and Tumblr, posted by people who have already got the game and Randall, Fear Tech are the "bad guys" in the MU universe and Randall is having to do things like remove FT vandalism, rescue MU students who've been captured by FT students, scare FT students and collect "intel" from other MU students, so he is definitely a hero in the MU universe!

I just thought of something, Randy does mention his glasses in this game, I'm wondering maybe they are an obtainable item that you can get later on. Whether it be in the game or one of those discs you can buy.

Does the same thing happen when people play as Mike or Sulley or do they have different story lines? From that video I saw that one of the comments here posted earlier, It's seems that you have to turn invisible to scare the FT students? I don't think that Mike and Sulley are able to do that :-P Well...Unless they have special items to turn them invisible as we saw from Mike in one of the trailers. Though it still wouldn't make much sense and would look really random story-wise imo. I think that the characters that aren't named Randy or Violet should only be able to use invisibility in Toybox mode but not for their main stories. From what I can tell, each character has his/her own particular powers, although there might be power discs that they can get to obtain different abilities. The box that Randall's figure arrives in specifies his ability to turn invisible, so I'd guess that Mike and Sulley will each have their own particular and different ability, at least in their own universe. Now, in Toy Box mode, it seems like anything goes, but all of the walk-throughs I've seen so far have just been limited to the MU universe. pitbulllady

Wow. Now I really wanna know all of the lines Randy has in this game. XD Whether you play as him or he's just a mission helper, I wanna know everything he says. Someone on Tumblr said that after blowing up a Fear Tech student he says something along the lines of :"Weren't you in my Door Tech class?" I cracked up at that! XD Well another one of his lines is when you first put him in the game, he says "Names Randy Boggs, Scaring major! I bet we're gonna be best of friends!" I just realized in this video if you skip to 10:07 that when he first introduces himself, he uses both his pose from MI and his MU pose. I thought that was interesting. www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUcj03Zxze8

Yay, I got my Randy figure! I was on my lunch break today and I thought I would go browse in GameStop and I noticed that they only had two Randy's on the shelf and the guy there said that Randy was one of the few figures they've really been having trouble keeping stocked because he is selling so fast. I plan on getting Disney Infinity in a few weeks so I thought I would snatch Randy before he sold out. lol

That's cool! He pops up at around 4:33 and says "Well Hi there!" XD At first I thought he was telling Mike and Sulley to wait up but then I realized that it was just the narrator.... -.- Also.....does anybody else think he kinda looks like the Cheshire Cat from "Alice in Wonderland" or is it just me? He also says something at about 10:45 but I can't hear it because the guy playing won't shut up.... -_- I prefer seeing a walk through where there's very little to no talking from the player. He also says "I think this place looks cool, but its hard to tell without my glasses" and "You can see me? Ohhhhh, thought I was invisible" He probably has many more lines. lol Its not Buscemi that does his voice, but who ever it is really does a good job! It almost sounds like the actual Randall.

Then only characters in the game that I know for sure have then same VA's from the movie are the Terry Bros., Don, and Squishy. But whoever voiced Randall did a hell of a good job! The accent is off, but that's not really the VA's fault. Woody's voice on the other hand.....That could use more work..... e_e Yeah, the accent of Infinity Randall is the main thing that's "off". In the game, he has a very New Jersey-sounding accent, more like Mike's, actually. Ironically, Steve Buscemi, a native of Brooklyn, NORMALLY sounds more like Infinity Randall, but when he voices Randall in both movies, he uses a very Midwestern-sounding accent. MI Randall sounds like he's from Indiana, while MU Randall sounds more like he's from Chicago, but both are still Midwestern. Kinda interesting, speaking of MU voice actors and accents, but I was watching "Castle" on tv just now and the lead character, played by Nathan Fillion, Johnny's VA in MU, was deliberately speaking with this New Orleans accent while playing around to annoy another character(if any of you watch "Castle" you know he does that a LOT). There are moments when Johnny Worthington has a rather noticeable upper class Garden District New Orleans accent in MU, like when he responds to Chet yelling(in reference to Mike), "THIS GUY HATES CHARITY", and Johnny says, "Dat's not cool", lol. Now, that voice that Nathan Fillion used just now on tv is firmly the voice of Johnny's grandfather, John Sr., in my headcanon. pitbulllady

Saw that on Tumblr just awhile ago. That should give the Randall haters a nice little kick in the butt, lol! Randall is outselling BOTH Mike and Sulley, the two "heroes". pitbulllady

Randall merchandise has always sold extremely well, what little there was, and is continuing to do so. This absolutely reflects his popularity, especially in Japan, where Randall is absolutely HUGE right now. Disney-Pixar needs to take a really, really serious look at this, and if they don't figure out that Randall is very popular, ignorant Tumblr haters aside, and figure out how to make Randall's story into a real sequel, somebody on that team needs a career change, pronto! At every retail outlet around here, the Randall merchandise sold out almost immediately, which is why I had such a hard time finding any. You pretty much had to get there the day that the shipment came in or you missed out. We see from the response to Disney Infinity that this trend shows no signs of slowing down, either. Randall is not only outselling his two MU co-stars, but outselling the "Cars" characters, and in spite of the critical reception to those movies the characters from "Cars" have always been very popular with children, little boys especially, which is why most retail stores in the US stock them all the time and keep getting in new ones.

Not just where you live! Disney Infinity Randalls are sold out where I live as well, and, surprise surprise, they are outselling Mike! I was really surprised with this Though I think that part of his video-game appeal comes simply from the fact that he is of a rare breed of playble characters that a) have more than two legs and b) aren't cars... Even reviewers like to use him to demo DI since he demonstrates the features of the game really well!

Is this game good? Like what's good and bad about it? I kinda am tempted to buy it, but I'm not sure

Is this game good? Like what's good and bad about it? I kinda am tempted to buy it, but I'm not sure The good things (highly subjective): - It's HUGE. You get three gamesets/worlds (Incredibles, MU and Pirates of Carribean) to explore, and individual "adventures" like standalone missions and racing levels. You are given missions and challenges to accomplish. Plus, you can donwnload lots of levels both from Disney and Other users for free. You can also create your own levels.
- It isn't exactly linear in narrative. As you work your way through the missions and challenges, new appear. Some advance the story, some don't. The good thing about it is that if you have little time to actually play the game (like I do), you can play just a snippet, save, and get back to it later without missing much action.
- Cross platform. If you have an iPad, you can download a free app and play standalone missions/levels with your purchased characters on-the-go. The controls are kinda tricky on the iPad, but you can get used to it.
The bad things: - You have to pay for aditional worlds, i.e. Cars, Lone Ranger and future releases. However, you always get two figures along with them, so at least you get some consolation for the spent money...
- Once you finish a gameset/world, you cannot just replay it with another character without overwriting the previous save. You keep all the collectibles from a given set, but all the missions are reset.
- Makes you regret a day doesn't have 48 hours so that you could fully utilize the ToyBox (level-building) mode, which is, frankly, quite awesome.
Overall, it's like LittleBigPlanet on Disney steroids (if you know that game).

Overall, it's like LittleBigPlanet on Disney steroids (if you know that game). So there IS a version for iPad? Do you still have to purchase a game system or will it work just with the iPad? I snagged a Randall figure from our nearest Wal-Mart a couple of days ago, the only one I've seen anywhere almost since the game came out out(Toys R Us says that they had to back order Randall). I do not own a gaming system of any kind, but I DO have an iPad2. Do you know if there's a PC version for desktops that does not require a separate system, or is there a system that can be "plug 'n play" with a PC? pitbulllady
