Tea is yucky!!! I COMPLETELY agree, and living in a place where the people drink tea, tea, and nothing BUT tea, doesn't help. Oh, and I've always wanted to ask this- are sodas just any fizzy drinks? So a coke is a soda, and lemonade is a soda? If so, then how can you tell what someone's actually drinking or what they want if they just say 'a soda'?

So a coke is a soda, and lemonade is a soda? If so, then how can you tell what someone's actually drinking or what they want if they just say 'a soda'? I so do NOT like tea! It's like...well...dried leaves soaked in water, for goodness sakes! Here in the Southeastern US, iced tea is like the official beverage of the whole region, so that makes me a bit of a heretic. "Soda" refers to CARBONATED soft drinks; the name "soda" stems from the fact that the bubbles and "fizz" in the drink come from having sodium bicarbonate(that's the "soda") added to the mixture. Coca-Cola, Mountain Dew and Diet Pepsi are sodas, while lemonade and Gatorade are NOT. Most "energy drinks", like Sobe No Fear and Red Bull, are also sodas, since they contain carbonation. Speaking of sodas and coffee, has anyone else tried Coca-Cola Blak? No, I didn't mispell it. It's low-calorie Coke with black coffee mixed in, and it's fantastic! When I first saw it on shelves, I couldn't help but think of how much Randall would love this stuff! pitbulllady

I drink about six liters of diet coke a day. If I don't for some reason, I tend to get a dull headache. Maybe that is why Randall is so crabby. Good point!

I soooooooo have to get me some of that! i love Coke and Coffee! that reminds me of Buzz Beer ;D

A headache is one of the symptoms of caffeine withdrawal, and the more addicted you are, the worse the headache will be when you can't get your caffeine! I get these absolutely splitting killer headaches, like an electric skill saw at full throttle biting into the top of my cranium from the inside out, when I miss my caffeine, especially the afternoon fix! Anyone who has experienced that will have yet-another deeper grasp of why Randall is so crabby, indeed! pitbulllady

that explains a lot. like, i didn't drink any coffee or Mountain Dew yesterday and i couldn't even sleep. my head was splitting open. but, don't worry! i drank 3 mountain dews in a row and i had one this morning and i drank some coffee when i got home. i was really wired for about 4 hours, but i've cooled down. im drinking another MD right now. no wonder i can't sleep.

I'm imunned (is that how you spell it?) to the caffine. If I drink a soda before bed, I could still go to sleep unlike some people. ^_^
