Any particular animated films you'd recommend to people here or anyone specifically here? That's what this thread is for. Today I went coast shopping and also got some (dirt cheap) DVDs from HMV (£3 each). One of these DVDs was Dreamwork's own Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas, and is really traditional animation. To be honest while DW's has some great computer animated features too, I think it's its traditionally animated films which are very underrated too. (They also produced the widely acclaimed Prince of Egypt on the moses story and made them feel more like actual flesh out characters and did add things- and concentrated a lot on the possible brother relationship with the Pharoah and Moses- and the ending in of itself was kind of bittersweet all the same). Plus the music was great in that movie. I'd recommend their Sinbad film if only because it represents a man learning not to be utterly selfish and coming through for his friend (Sinbad having to overcome is selfish nature). I kind of love his friend who put such faith in him, even though everyone else assumed he was guilty of a crime and taking his place in punishment believing he'll come back. I'll admit it's been a while since I've seen it. But I look forward to seeing it again and I think it will be just as enjoyable once again. Though of course I can't remember everything- but overall I remember it being a good film and it is vastly underrated. So any animated films anyone would recommend here?
