I finally saw Regular show on Monday, a show created by J G Quintel who worked on Misadventures of Flapjack, and I'm... partly impressed. It's funny, but more for older kids... like 13 and up. The creator's deviantArt profile: www.jgquintel.deviantart.comI did like it until it came up to the part where Benson, the gumball machine dude, scowls loudly, "THAT FORTY BUCKS YOU TOOK OUT OF ME WITH THAT STUPID KEYBOARD CRAP! Now... give it BACK..." Yeah... they got away with it with that, but there was also a comment made by Rigby, the raccoon saying, "How in the 'h'are we gonna fix this 's'?" after breaking a hole into the wall. The main characters also called each other "hole"s Nothing else, they just say, "You hole." Still, I like it. But I just don't like profanity; so I'll ignore it if there's more to come in the next episodes.

If they say stuff like that in the show then it's clear that the audience is an older audience to begain with, most teenagers do say foul words or at least substitute words in place of the foul so I'm really not surprised by this....but seriously, most cartoons such as FlapJack, Chowder, and such are completely stupid and basically crap themselves...I hate to say it but a good majority of awsome kids cartoons were only from around my generation and a small few of the generations of today can match it, let alone come close, to the greatness that the shows of the 90's were.

Like Mistica said, it's probably targeted to an older audience. You would be surprised how many adults watch cartoons like this. My boyfriend watches Adventure Time on a regular bases and I'm quite a fan of Flapjack, myself.

I watched only one episode of Flapjack and it made absolutely no sense to me whatsoever....at least shows that my mom found stupid such as Ren and Stimpy made more sense than this show does.

After you watch it for a while, it just kind of grows on you. It's so strange and odd and I find myself laughing out loud at moments. But I can understand how you feel. I really don't care for Chowder. So many people love it, but I end up being annoyed more than entertained while watching :/
