I will say I did like UP. But there was something strange with Muntz. They DID show his past and such...but now that I think about it, it seems as if they just showed it in a way to justify the end, rather than to garner sympathy.. I don't know how many times I personally thought of that when we discussed Muntz in the past.

Nevermind. Bottom line: Dreamworks IS starting to sound (haven't seen their latest stuff simply because I don't watch many new movies ) like a better company than Pixar. Having bombed initially, it seems they ARE just STARTING to learn what the free-thinking public wants.

I meant 'short' film and you know it RB. Yeah, plot looks good to me. I look forward to it. Muntz failed to have a good presence in the movie for me. You forgot he existed for a while. Definitly NOT a Waternoose or a Randall for me. Just having Carl find the message THEN too when he was smiling and in his house would have been sweet too for me. I mean why bother with the rest? Only good thing I got was the idea of a promise to the living being more important than one to the dead, which is a good thing, but for the most part it seemed so many things were unnecessary and just there to 'look cool' (but it didn't 'look cool'). Plus chocolate is NOT a good thing to give to birds Russell. It's toxic to them. You could kill kevin and those poor kids will be orphans. ): Sg: You HAVE to see HTTYD. It's pretty awesome.

Ah gotcha, thought you were making fun. XD. But yeah once more I anticpate something which might NOT be as enjoyable as Kung Fu Panda but will still be overall a good one and on Dreamworks hgher end rather than their lower end. Bampot, we have to wait until DECEMBER here rather than November so count yourself lucky (dang atlantic ocean...). The plot on wiki has me more interested than the trailer actually, but I do like the investigative journalist a lot from what I've seen.

Ugh, that sucks that you guys have to wait. Why do some countries get films so much later than others? You wouldn't think it would be that big of deal I'm hoping the next trailer will give us a little more goods to what's going to happen in the movie.

I think Dreamworks may surpass Pixar, if things just keep going like they're going now. Pixar is getting unoriginal. Dreamworks is learning from past mistakes. Maybe if the Pixar stopped relying on stereotypes, then things could change. Yeah, in the movie Monsters vs Aliens you've gotta admit that the main protagonist's husband was pretty stereotypical, but they don't rely on those on a daily basis. Shrek was pretty good, I think. I haven't watched part three yet, so when I say Shrek, I mean part one. Eh, nuff said.
