NOT about him, about how we fell for him. =D
See, I wasn't THAT interested in the movie OR sadly, Randall. When I saw the movie with my friend in theatres, I liked it. I like Randall too, alot more than the other characters, but not as much as too join a forum dedicated to him. Just so-so.
Truthfully, I forgot all about the movie a few months after it showed in theatres AND I forgot Randall. Not REALLY, but a few trademarks of him.
Then after I saw the movie again on VHS (yes, VHS) I relized "OMFG, Randall is AWESOME....*stares and drools*". Which is how I started to draw him. =D
That's a truth. Here's some facts -
I used to call him Randy. ^ ^;; I forgot he had so many teeth. His eyes, at the time for me, looked deep blue. My first ever true drawing of him ROCKED, then I got WORSE. XD I made up about 7 forms for randall. I had Randall and ROuge together for almost 4 to 5 years now. I don't sleep much. I need pepsi and chocolate. .... Post truths and facts about randall/yerself involving randall here.

For nearly two years, I had no idea what Randall looked like. Even when the film came out, I didn't get it until months and months later when I actually got the guts to ask my mum whether I could get it. When I found out that Randall's surname was Boggs, (I'd forgotten it after a few months after having seen the movie) I thought that it was a joke. ;D I thought he had a double-tail. I honestly thought that the bit in Joy's fanfic, A Different Point of View, when Randall shuts the door on Fungus, was actually in the film. ;D

I didn't even see the movie when it was in theaters. I was having some pretty rough family illness-related problems at the time, plus, the trailers I saw on tv didn't impress me much. To me, it looked like "Monsters, Inc." was basically a CGI rip-off of the Nicktoon, "Ahhh! Real Monsters!". I don't even remember seeing Randall in a trailer, just Sulley and Mike. I didn't even hear of Randall until "Lilo and Stitch" came out, and I discovered FF.net and the world of fanfiction. Several of the early L&S fanfic writers(many of whom were really good, unlike those up today)mentioned Randall in their personal info, and one even started a really funny fic starring Randall and Experiment 625, but never finished it(this was before the series came out on tv, by the way). It got me intrigued as to just who this "Randall Boggs" was, and why he was so popular. Most mentioned him as being very sexy, although it didn't make sense to me how a MONSTER could possibly be physically attractive! Little did *I* know, LOL!
Anyway, right before the "Lilo and Stitch" DVD came out, I had to buy a DVD player, and to make sure it worked, I figured I better get a DVD. Well, the "Monsters, Inc." DVD had just been released, so I picked it up at the Disney Store, partly because I needed a DVD and partly because I wanted to see what the big deal was with this Randall character. The rest, as they say, is history!

Hmm. Interesting topic. 1.) I thought up Caylin (Randall's friend) while watching an Geico commercial. XD 2.) I thought, when I saw a brief glimpse of Randall in an MI commercial (before the movie came out) that he was a snake.

Well... I saw the movie in the theaters, and I was amazed at how good a job Pixar did in creating a new world of monsters. However, like with most movies I see for some reason, sometimes certain pieces of the plot didn't make sense to me, especially near the end of the movie.
When I saw it on DVD, I got the plotline down, and I thought it was well done, but I still think Pixar could've done a better job with the ending. It almost felt like Pixar couldn't come up with a killer idea for the ending parts of the story, and somehow, what they did have as their best idea, which they may not have been sastisfied with, they put in due to preassure of release and all that. Perhaps Pixar may need to make a re-write or something...

Not to intrude, as I haven't entered the topic yet, but...
Remember Tailmister....Eisner, as well as Disney, had a say in the M.I. ending.... Wouldn't be surprised if Goodman did either...

Oh, that's right, I've forgotten.
... I wonder what the movie would've been like if only Pixar was allowed its full creative share in the movie.
Probrably they would be allowed their 'no villan' rule for one...

Randall, Sullivan, and Wazowski would be trying to get the Kid back. The C.D.A. would be the "kinda bad guys", though they really are an evil corporation...

C.D.A. being corrupt... hmm...
Not to make your life hard or anything, but can you explain to me what that means, or how the C.D.A. is corrupt?
If I'm being too intrusive, please say so, and I'll stop.

Well, I have another question.
Some people, in their posts say something like 'Randall gives Sullivan and Wazowski a second chance' or something like that. I just wonder, what does that mean?

Well it's mostly me.... Now THAT I can answer.
Like Randall explained in A Different Point of View....
When Randall caught Wazowski and found out HE, and possibly Sullivan, had the kid....he didn't threaten. He didn't kill Wazowski and Sullivan as he said before ("And when I found who ever let it out...they're dead!", of course, this was just an expression...).
So...he gave them a second chance. He gave them a way out by just placing the kid back to her door and walk away like nothing happened. "I know how to make this all go away".
Randall gave them the chance to get out of it....they didn't take it...

That's right, he did. He KNEW that Wazowski was not happy with this situation, with having this illegal(and supposedly dangerous)human kid on his hands, so Randall gave him and Sullivan the chance to get rid of the problem and just pretend none of this ever happened. That way, they would not have to worry about getting caught; RANDALL was willing to take that risk unto himself! He was willing to just keep his mouth shut about their involvement in the whole thing, letting them off the hook completely. MIKE was perfectly willing to go along with him, but Sulley wasn't, so they ended up blowing the chance. Of course, if they HAD gone along with Randall, things wouldn't have gone too well for Boo.
As for the CDA being corrupt, they HAD to have known that SOMETHING had happened to Randall in the Door Vault, since so many monsters had seen him, Mike and Sulley go up into the Door Vault, but only Mike and Sulley returned. They HAD to have known that Sulley and Mike had something to do with Randall's disappearance. Their JOB was to protect ALL citizens, including those which had broken the law. Why, then, would they cover up the fact that two monsters had done away with another monster, AND cover up the fact that two monsters WERE involved in keeping and concealing an illegal human child? They are not judges nor jury; it is not their place, as a law-enforcement agency, to decide if an individual is guilty or not, nor to decide on their punishment. THAT is the responsibilty of the court system, and since jury duty is specifically mentioned in the movie, I have to assume that the court system in Monstropolis is similar to ours. Yet, the CDA decided, after the fact, that Randall was guilty and deserved "banishment", and Sulley and Mike were to be automatically absolved of THEIR crimes. If THAT ain't corrupt, I don't know what is!
