Holy sh*t! For real!!! Man, gonna have to count me out then, a little too high for me and also, I'm trying to save up my money for the LDD Alice in Wonderland set, I'm thinking of getting all four in the set...but that's nice of him since it's helping out the people in Haiti, that's very cool of him. I wonder if it's hard for him to part with that though, it's from his personal collection and I'm sure that it's filled with many memories from when they worked on the film.

I was wondering if it was Lee Unkrich or if this is a second-party person that's simply posting the information and is such a go-between. BUT...if it happens to be Lee....*grins*
Doubt anyone here has over $600 bucks to spend for this. If there, I'd be surprised 0_0

Yeah, I don't have that kind of money.
Still, that IS a valid point, RandallBoggs. My guess is that it IS Lee, and if it IS...
...you suppose one of us should try to contact this person? I mean, look at the username!
Update: just looked at Lee's Twitter page. He has a direct link to the eBay page.

Well, that wouldn't be a bad idea but wouldn't Ebay or those who run it be a little miffed if the question wasn't relating to the item being sold persay?

Neither do I despite being an avent collector. No...this little sculpture of the guy will find himself somewhere else. But...it's for a good cause. *grins* Nobody can say that Randall never contributed to a disaster eh? So far over 20 people have placed increased bids.
*nods*
*taps lip* Hmm...depends if they really ARE Lee....wouldn't hurt to ask that first. *blinks* Unkrich is giving this away, apparently, from his own collection. Which means for nearly a decade he's had this sculpture of Randall in his collection, hence he cares about it. And since he was involved in the project, it would mostly be for emotional value than monetary. If it was for the later, he would NOT be giving it for a worthy cause. *folds arms* Hmm...Lee....was that first script...actually your view...and not Doctor's....

Well Mistica...an honest question would be if they ARE Lee Unkrich and he IS the seller and not a different party. I mean that does relate to the item afterall if this really is coming from Unkrich's own collection, and not just being said by somebody else, thus would be more inclined to make it more valuable.

Well, that is a much better question to ask but SgtYayap pointed out that Unkrich has these listings on his Twitter page which is clearly run by him although he posts some silly stuff on there...but then again, so do other people as well. There might be a good chance that it could be him and also, that Randall sculpture isn't the only thing being sold, there are other items as well which are clearly not regular Pixar merchandise. I think that this may mean that he is the real deal here.

You know, if this had come up right after my tax refund got here, I might have had to go for it, but unfortunately the bills had to come first! I'd seriously love to have this, though, and it IS for a very good cause. RB has a good point about Lee Unkrich having kept this in his personal collection for that long, and he most likely made it himself, which might indicate a bit more affection for Randall on his part than on Peter Docter's.
I love these earlier concept drawings/maquettes of Randall with that bowtie on, even though I can't help but to think of Craig McCracken's drawing of "Monkey Suit Wilt" on DA, which he drew for an awards ceremony. For some reason, I picture Randall just sort of going to pieces up on a stage in front of a large crowd just like Wilt did in "Hiccy Burp", nervously pulling at that bowtie like it's choking him.

Indeed, pitbulllady. Lee is clearly prizing this thing, and it's only until now that he even considers selling it. I've already discussed this with RandallBoggs, but, in relation to the campaign, maybe Unkrich is our ticket.

*nods* I know. Unkrich was probably responsible for the first scripts of M.I., and Pete was the first one to sorta "cave-in" on "there's gotta be a villain" idea. Wonder if Unkrich pitched having Waternoose be the one behind it all as being a jab to Eisner, that it was his idea rather than Pete's.
*chuckles at the thought* Ahh I just pictured that hehehe. Would think he'd wear something like a bowtie just to "satisfy that uncomfortable itch" as it were ^0^

Ladies and Gentlemen. If you haven't tried purchasing this little piece of Randall, lose hope ^0^ As the bid stands now your gonna need to fork over $1000 ^0^ Even if it IS for a good cause, apparently there might be Randall fans with quite a cash flow ^0^

Indeed. I only hope they'll eventually find this place, so we can get details about it. ;D
