A short animated film by Shane Acker, soon to be movie. I'm very excited for it. The voice cast includes Elijah Wood (9), John C. Reilly (5), Jennifer Connelly (7), Crispin Glover (6), Martin Landau (2), and Christopher Plummer (1). Directed and written by Shane Acker. Produced by Tim Burton. I think it sounds pretty interesting, and with the age rating in the US having been announced at PG-13, it shows that they've gone all out with this film and not held back just because it's animated. Definitely tempted to see this when it's released.

I'm very happy with the rating. I'm all for family movies, but I feel animation in general has been reserved for G and PG ratings. I'm not talking Fritz The Cat or anything, but I would like some more expansion in animated films these days.

Hopefully so. If not, you could probably watch it over the internet.
G means that the movie's content is ok for the whole family. No swearing, mature themes, or violence. PG is the same with some exceptions. There can be mild swearing and violence.

9 was the most amazing experience ever. I like animation, and I like robots, so this was a given for me. It also had some cool 'splosions.
Also, I didn't know Reilly did the voice for 5! This makes be like him even more now, 5 was awesome.

5 was my favorite, mostly because of Reilly. I'm a big fan of his. I like the movie a lot, but I felt it was a bit rushed. Seemed like things move too quickly and I wish there would of been more time developing characters rather than rushing into plot.

Yep, it's Tim Burton... so I'll make plans to hopefully see it ;D. Tim Burton's films are always a joy to watch for me. Especially with his awesome history in films!

Yep, it's a good film, trust me on that, I saw it on the first day it came out but I saw it around noon so there was very few people in the theater. ;D I do have to agree with you a little Bampot, it did feel a tad short as far as the story but still good.

Yeah, I liked it. I was just a little disappointed. They rushed the plot along so fast and it gave very little time to develop and admire the very diverse characters. Yep, it's Tim Burton... so I'll make plans to hopefully see it ;D. Tim Burton's films are always a joy to watch for me. Especially with his awesome history in films! Actually, it's a direction and written by Shane Acker and is based off his short film. Burton is just producing it, alongside Timur Bekmambetov.
