As ANOTHER observation, I've also noticed that the hard-core Randall-HATERS are almost always MALE. While I've encountered a few females who did not like him, mainly because they are "grossed out" by any scaly creature that doesn't have gills, most females can usually at least be pursuaded to recognize that Randall was not "evil" per se, and that most of what he did that most people find objectionable was either forced upon him, or simply part of his culture, which considered human children to be nothing more than dangerous animals. Most of the time, bringing up the things that MIKE wanted to do to Boo helps them see that point. The people who really, seriously, from-the-gut HATE Randall, and cannot be pursuaded that he's anything less than Satan incarnate, and that he deserves to die a horrible and painful death simply for being WHAT he is, nevermind even the things he's done! Case in point: "Funone" one IMdb, who insisted that Randall's ability to "turn invisable" ALONE made him "evil", and deserving of death, because there was no way to contain or control someone like that! When I then compared this guy's attitude to that of Syndrome, who felt that all Supers were "evil" and should be eliminated simply because they could do things that ordinary people could not do, he got mad, LOL! What it boils down to, though, with so many males despising Randall so deeply, is J-E-A-L-O-U-S-Y, pure and simple! Whether or not they would ever admit it, their very masculinity is threatened by this male character, who so many humans females find so attractive-MUCH more so than we find the guys who hate him! They hate Randall not so much for what he's done, as for what he represents to them-a rival, dominant MALE. pitbulllady Just asking (possibly to prove the men wrong and make them look stupid (NO NOT MEANING YOU 'SEAN') ) but, heh, how could Randall possibly pose as a threat to males when he's not even real?? How could they be jealous of a fictional character of which women cannot have sex with?

I suppose they're just jealous of Randall's perfect looks and his work-oriented personality... would it be that?

How could they be jealous of a fictional character of which women cannot have sex with? With many guys, the "threat" does not have to be real. It just has to exist in some form. They perceive that a LOT of gals are really fond of Randall, and that's all it takes, seriously, for them to be considered a threat to their masculinity. It doesn't matter if women can actually have sex with him or not; the psychological impact, with some guys, especially those who are very insecure, is just as powerful as if Randall was actually standing there. I've seen the same thing regarding Wilt, a character on "Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends". He, too, has a LOT of female fans, honest-to-goodness fan girls, and nearly all of the people who watch that show, but hate Wilt, are guys. That ought to tell you something. pitbulllady

I've shared my interest in Axel, Demyx, the Toon Patrol AND Randall (These are all guys) with like, half the males I've known, and they take interest in them, too... Er, on the other hand, I'll bet those guys, whom are my age, aren't old enough to consider anything a threat, seeming as most of them don't have any kind of serious relationships with any girls (Or boys, for that matter).
