I just thought of one! Tis an okay song- in my opinion. "I'll Stand By You" by Girls Aloud? I think ...
More of a ... romance song ... though. Tis my inspiration for my fanfiction, which has a great summary (in my opinion) and I hope to get it up and running. Sandra's a bit more ... touchy and nasty. She needs a bit of an attitude adjustment ^__^;;
Here's teh lyrics-
"I'll Stand By You" by Girls Aloud
Oh, Why You Look So Sad? Tears are in your eyes Come on and come to me now Don't be ashamed to cry Let me see you through 'cause I've seen the dark side too When the night falls on you You don't know what to do Nothing you confess Could make me love you less
I'll stand by you I'll stand by you Won't let nobody hurt you I'll stand by you
So if you're mad, get mad Don't hold it all inside Come on and talk to me now Hey, what you got to hide? I get angry too Well I'm a lot like you When you're standing at the crossroads And don't know which path to choose Let me come along 'cause even if you're wrong
I'll stand by you I'll stand by you Won't let nobody hurt you I'll stand by you Take me in, into your darkest hour And I'll never desert you I'll stand by you
And when... When the night falls on you, baby You're feeling all alone You won't be on your own
I'll stand by you I'll stand by you Won't let nobody hurt you
I'll stand by you Take me in, into your darkest hour And I'll never desert you I'll stand by you I'll stand by you Won't let nobody hurt you I'll stand by you Won't let nobody hurt you I'll stand by you

THAT's the song *I* would think of, FONY, only I'm familiar with the original version, by The Pretenders. That, and "Desperado", by The Eagles(or Clint Black, whose cover version is really good). The latter could easily remind me of another Pixar character, too, one with firery red hair and a Celtic temper to match ;D Here's the lyrics to that song, copywrited to The Eagles.
Desperado, why don’t you come to your senses? You been out ridin’ fences for so long now Oh, you’re a hard one I know that you got your reasons These things that are pleasin’ you Can hurt you somehow
Don’ you draw the Queen of Diamonds, boy She’ll beat you if she’s able You know the Queen of Hearts is always your best bet
Now it seems to me, some fine things Have been laid upon your table But you only want the ones that you can’t get
Desperado, oh, you ain’t gettin’ no youger Your pain and your hunger, they’re drivin’ you home And freedom, oh freedom well, that’s just some people talkin’ Your prison is walking through this world all alone
Don’t your feet get cold in the winter time? The sky won’t snow and the sun won’t shine It’s hard to tell the night time from the day You’re loosin’ all your highs and lows Ain’t it funny how the feeling goes away?
Desperado, why don’t you come to your senses? Come down from your fences, open the gate It may be rainin’, but there’s a rainbow above you You better let somebody love you, before it’s too late

Sounds like the one you made for that motorcycle pic. Nope, this is that song, "I Am The Highway", recorded by Audioslave, written by Chris Cornell. It, too, reminds me of Randall, with the whole wandering-through-the-world-alone-for-years theme, and you really have to hear the haunting melody of this song to get that "feel". I Am The Highway, words and music by Chris Cornell Pearls and swine, bereft of me long and weary my road has been I was lost in the cities Alone in the hills No sorrow or pity For leaving I feel-yeah I am not your rolling wheels I am the highway I am not your carpet ride I am the sky Friends and liars Dont wait for me 'Cause Ill get on All by myself I put millions of miles Under my heels And still too close to you I feel, yeah eh eh I am not your rolling wheels I am the highway I am not your carpet ride I am the sky I am not your blowing wind I am the lightning I am not your autumn moon I am the night pitbulllady

Yeah, that's VERY Randall-esque- I can actually imagine him saying 'I am the night...' ;D
My favourite lyrics that remind me of Randall are by Dark Globe, from the track 'Break My World'. It's kind of depressing, but if you've ever actually heard the song, it sort of fits.
I’m the eye of the hurricane… I hear your cries and I feel no pain… I’ll wash away the hurt and broken shame…
After all these years Your heart’s so cold to me.
Give me all the things That you don’t need, Fill me up With the air you breathe, If I ever see the day that You don’t need me…
Use me up, Cut me dry, Shut my mouth, Say goodbye, I’ll let go Of what I know…
Break my world. Break my world.
I see inside of an empty room… Your heart is heavy and it’s lonely too… I gave you more than I’m owed by you…
After all this time Your eyes are cold to me. Ooohhh…
Give me all the things That you don’t need, Fill me up With the air you breathe, If I ever see the day that You don’t need me…
Use me up, Cut me dry, Shut my mouth, Say goodbye, I’ll let go Of what I know...
Break my world. Break my world.
Use me up, Cut me dry, Shut my mouth, Say goodbye, I’ll let go Of what I know…
Break my world. Break my world. Break my world.
Break…my…world…

Funny, after I read pitbulllady's post, I heard teh song on the radio ;D It's my amazing psychic abilities-can even influence radio airplay thousands of miles away, LOL! Seriously, though, the lyrics and melody of that song just make me think of Randall wandering alone through our world, making aquaintances here and there, but still basically having to stay hidden, while searching for some means of getting back home. pitbulllady

It really suits Randall. =)

Well, the lyrics for the song that reminds me of Randall, "Free me" goes kinda like this.
I didn't asked you to take me from here I didn't asked to be broken. I didn't asked you to stroke my hair or treat me like a worthless token.
But my skin is thick. My mind is strong I am built like my father was I've done nothing wrong
So Free me I just want to feel what life should be I just want enough space to turn around and face the truth So Free me
When are you gonna realize you're just wrong You can't even think for yourself can't even make up your mind so my mind's a jail I hate the whole human race what the do you want from me? Kill me if you just don't know
Or Free me I just want to feel what life should be I just want enough space to turn around 'cause you're all and someday maybe you'll treat me like you
I guess Sean had already read this in the Fanfiction section and just to let you know, the guys who did this song, "Goldfinger" had some words that were unappropiate for me so I took them out.

HAHA! anyways, great song choices, guys. I have one.
"Now you're on your own, now you're - On your own I don't want to let you go out on your own. I am doing fine, now I've got the time I can't remember my way home..."
