Really? Alright. ^_^ I still wonder how people get those Screen Caps.... They record each episode, then burn them to a CD, and use their CD player functions to make screen caps. You have to be able to watch the show, though, which means having either cable or satallite. pitbulllady

Pitbulllady, approximately how many minutes into the episode was this? And do you know if the episode is going to be on again any time soon? I'll search the IMDb to find out when it will be repeated, but if you know, then that'll help. I won't be able to do screen caps, but I can pause live TV to be able to confirm any details on the imaginary friend, like fronds.

I've just checked the IMDb, and there are no showing times for Foster's on there, so if you know, Pitbulllady, or if you know of a site where I can find out when the episode will next be on, then that will be very helpful.

I just went to Cartoon Network.com and searched all showings of Foster's from now until June 24th. They are not showing that episode anytime soon from the look of it. Mostly "Where There's a Wilt, There's a Way". Sorry, guys.

Darn! That's a shame. But, MelTSS, just to check, was this website a national guide, or did it apply to just one country?

They just showed it, so it will be awhile before it airs again, and it's not listed on Cartoon Network's upcoming schedule for Foster's, which runs though June 23. They showed the double episode, "Seeing Red/Phone Home" this evening-both funny as heck, but nothing resembling Randall, although there IS a Loch Ness-type monster, complete with a Scottish accent, that lives in a huge tank of water outside. He, too, is purple, but aquatic, and HUGE, and his name is Cyrus. No one can tell me that "Monsters, Inc.", and Pixar in general, is not a MAJOR creative influence on "Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends". There is even a two-tone orange furry thing that looks like a skinnier, somewhat mangy version of George, and Foster's has its own green, one-eyed little monster, but Jackie Khones is WAY cooler than Mike Wazowski ever thought of being!

Does Foster do such things often?

Yeah....hehe. ^_^ Does Foster do such things often? Yeah, all the time. I mean, MOST of the residents of Foster's can only best be described as "monsters", though there are a few, like "Sunset Junction"(a tall, thin bear) and Mr. Herriman(a giant British rabbit),who resemble familiar animals, and others who resemble animate versions of inaminate objects, like "Handy" the giant baseball glove or "Tubey" the television set. Most of the Imaginary Friends, though, like Wilt, Eduardo, Jackie, and "the New Guy", look VERY much like the residents of Monstropolis. If you pay close attention to the interior of the house itself, there are LOTS of things, like mirror frames and such, which take the form of a monster face, just like in "Monsters, Inc." You never know when something you pick up, thinking it's a normal object, will turn out to be something ALIVE. I guess the only difference in the monsters of Foster's and those in Monstropolis is how they came into being; Foster's residents are Imaginary Friends, which, in the Foster's Universe, become living, flesh-and-blood mortal beings as soon as a human child imagines them into existance. Everyone can see them, touch them(and boy would I like to touch one in particular), talk to them, etc. HOWEVER, it has been shown that just as these Imaginary Friends have the same biological needs as us humans, they also, in some cases, have the ability to reproduce, the "old-fashioned" way, with other Imaginary Friends, so you have second, and possibly third-generation beings that were NOT imagined by human children, so I guess they really WOULD be monsters in every sense of the word. It would be quite easy to see how the "Mons", in "The History of the Monster World", could have been either the Imaginary Friends of primitive human children, or the offspring of said Imaginary Friends and human adults, which would explain why they looked so different from humans, and had such "flexible" genes that allowed them to take on characteristics of the animals on that island to which they were banished. pitbulllady

Cyrus...? *scoloured persons*
Yeah, Foster's always reminds me of MI. There is the same concept of mistreatment of creatures that we don't understand.

Cyrus...? *scoloured persons* Yeah, Foster's always reminds me of MI. There is the same concept of mistreatment of creatures that we don't understand. Yeah, plus that whole underlying theme of abandonment and being unwanted or unappreciated is there, too. A lot of fans can't see that, or don't realize that this is behind a lot of the characters' behavioral issues, even Bloo's(and Bloo can give Mike Wazowski a run for his money any day of the week in the Jerk Dept. or the Smart-___ Dept.). As someone who'd been pushed around from one home to the next, and basically made to feel very unwanted himself, THEN was actually thrown away and abandoned, I'm sure that Randall would be able to relate to the problems facing the residents of Foster's. pitbulllady

Someone did a story on that but don't think they finished that.
Speaking of which...isn't Bloo like the...sorta...main character or such? I know that some episodes, I think, revolve around characters such as Wilt, but Bloo seems to recognized more.

Someone did a story on that but don't think they finished that. Speaking of which...isn't Bloo like the...sorta...main character or such? I know that some episodes, I think, revolve around characters such as Wilt, but Bloo seems to recognized more. I remember that fanfic. The writer quit after just the first chapter, for some reason. At that time, I had not starting watching Foster's, so I couldn't understand why all these people who saw Randall kept telling him to go to that address. Now, it makes sense. They would NOT realize that Randall was a monster from the Monster World at all, but would assume that he was some kid's lost or abandoned Imaginary Friend! RANDALL, on the other hand, would not realize, not at first, anyway-that the residents of Foster's were Imaginary Friends. He would assume that they, like himself, were banished monsters from the Monster World! It would be interesting to see his reaction to learning that he would be put up for adoption if he stayed there, and to see THEIR reaction upon learning where Randall had actually come from! On the one hand, Randall MIGHT actually go along with the adoption thing, knowing that it would at least give him access to a child's closet door at night, and that would bring the hopes of catching that door open when a Scarer came through(of course, Randall has no way to know that M.I. has switched to Laugh energy now). At the same time, though, Randall would actually have some real friends there, people who'd stick by him, no matter what, especially Wilt. Given the major issues that Wilt has with abandonment and disloyalty and with those who make fun of tall people, he would not only be Randall's best buddy, but Mike Wazowskie's worst nightmare, should they ever meet. Now, here's a pleasant image-a certain green ball being the object of a really powerful slam-dunk! pitbulllady
