im all for it and i think the rest of the members would love it. would it be just MI or would there be an "other" section as well? do you think it would be best to be only MI at first to see how it turns out?

Yeah that's a very good point actually. I think that MI would be a necessity first to see just how it works out, work out bugs, kinks, or if it's killed, heh. If it's successful and works out, then what we should do next is find out what other large fanbases are in popular circulation around here and if they do indeed have enough following here to start another one. I think that would work best.

Yeah I guess aside from a few people, I never showed my work much. Hmm, well as for links, there's my LJ but it's....sort of a mess, it needs reorganizing. FF.net I tried using but, heheh, it sort of died and I haven't updated in AGES though most of the stories are finished. Everything else is here on my comp. But yeah, I'll definitely check out your account, it's been awhile since I've done anything Soul Caliber, but it'll be good to get back into it again ^_^ I'm not too worried about old works or unorganized stuff, because I've been forced to navigate such things before. =P I've weathered worse storms. And thank you very much! =) I'd really appreciate that. Tell me what you think in the future? i think a RP thread would turn out great on this board. im not really that into it, mostly because the only place i RP on the net is MNI and there are way to many people. i never can keep up with whats going on in the RPG. my friend has here own little place there and i found the writer in me there. we had developed our Harry Potter RP characters a long time before, but it's nice to have a story for them now. but yeah, i totally support a RP here. Well, there's another supporter. XD *jotts another number down on a chalkboard* Y'know, if anybody's worried about some people carrying on while they're absent, and thus leaving them in the dust, we can always keep a designated pattern going in order of posting. ~Keaton the Black Jackal

Hmm, well I suppose if you don't mind it then it'll be alright. And yes, I will let you know though what's the method you prefer?
And yep, growing members means a better hope for this, though for the members who aren't as active, like you said, we could still devise a system to make it work.

Looks like two people are hittin it off ^_^ Heh, you noticed? I normally prefer the organized pattern, because I've had rather frustrating situations when people would carry on and on without me--and leave me stranded within a day. However, it can be equally tense when people are sort of lax in posting, but ultimately, I prefer this method. ~Keaton the Black Jackal

Well you're in luck since all of my work is backedup on my comp to start with anyways and it's fairly straightforward. Oh! But I meant how would you prefer a response to your own work?

That sounds great to me, I can't wait to see it. And oh, oops. XD Well, I don't really like brutal honesty (like saying, 'This is the worst piece of drivel I've ever read in my entire life'), but I do appreciate critiques like nothing else. It helps me improve. But if you meant that you wanted to know how to give it to me, maybe through PMs would be just fine. ~Keaton the Black Jackal

Yeah that's what I wanted, PMs it is then. Though interestingly enough I just received a review on FF.net despite the fact that I haven't updated in half a year. This person wasn't too observant either

This person wasn't too observant either ! Sounds good to me, then. And oh jeez, you got a flame? =/ I've never had any of those, but whenever I see them on stories that don't deserve them, I get somewhat, uh, pee-pee'd off. Especially if it happens to have something which doesn't fit the oh-so-sensitive sensibilities of the reader. Bleeeeh. ~Keaton the Black Jackal

Well it wasn't a flame, just a poorly informed person. Having assumed I hadn't played the game except to part I had updated in the story, but if they HAD played the game as they claimed, they'd realize it's far too complicated to even CONSIDER writing a fic on it without playing it all the way through.

Well, which game was it? It's a rather daring thing to attempt to write a fic about something which is reasonably complicated, considering the research and stuff which comes with it. ~Keaton the Black Jackal

Exactly, that's why I had to explain to this person that I've not only played it but beaten it three time. It made me wonder if they really HAD played it. It's Xenogears after all, quite a complex plot after all, you'd HAVE to have played it all the through to even try writing a fanfic on it.
This was written in thanks for something Sean was included as the main character with Randall thrown in in an entirely new arc I had decided on.

Then I guess you've certainly had a lot of worldly experience about the game. XD I've never played Xenogears before, though. I'll need to read up about it. ~Keaton the Black Jackal
